Cart Drawer

The cart drawer is an interactive element that allows customers to view and edit their shopping cart without leaving the current page. This feature is enabled by default in the Essence theme.

Adjusting the Settings

Instructions
  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Find the Essence theme and click Customize.
  3. In the theme editor, select the Cart Drawer section in the sidebar to access its settings.

Enabling or Disabling the Cart Drawer

The cart drawer is enabled by default. To disable it:

  1. In the theme editor, navigate to Theme Settings.
  2. Click on Cart.
  3. Under Cart type, select Page to disable the cart drawer feature.

Adding Product Recommendations

The cart drawer can also display product recommendations, encouraging further purchases.

To add product recommendations to the cart drawer:

  1. Navigate to the Cart Drawer settings in the theme editor.
  2. Look for the option to enable product recommendations and configure it as per your preference.
