The Essence theme for Shopify includes a dedicated FAQ page template, designed to help you effectively address common customer questions. This document guides you through the process of creating and customizing your FAQ page using this template.

Creating a FAQ Page

Instructions
  1. Access the Shopify Admin Area: Log into your Shopify admin panel.
  2. Navigate to Pages: Go to Online Store -> Pages.
  3. Add a New Page: Click on the Add page button.
  4. Page Details:
    • Enter the name for your page.
    • In the "Theme template" section, select faq from the dropdown menu.
  5. Save Your Page: Click Save to create your FAQ page.

Customizing the FAQ Page

Once your FAQ page is created, you can customize it to fit your store's style and to add your frequently asked questions.

  1. Open Theme Editor: From your Shopify admin, navigate to the theme editor.
  2. Select FAQ Page: Click on the page selector at the top (currently showing "home page"). Then choose Pages -> faq.
  3. Add Questions and Answers:
    • In the FAQ page section, you will find a "Collapsible content" area. This section will serve as a category of questions.
    • To add a question and its answer, click on Add Content under the "Collapsible content" section.
    • Fill in each question and its corresponding answer.
    • You can add multiple categories of questions by adding more "Collapsible content" sections.
  4. Customize Page Style:
    • You can personalize the look of your FAQ page to match your brand's aesthetic.
    • Options include adding images, adjusting color schemes, and more.
  5. Publish the Page:
    • Once you are satisfied with the page, make sure to include the page in your online store's navigation.
